lemonstrudel asked: This blog means so much to me. I was with a few friends doing this "do your own curry evening", and it was going fine. I was happily eating my vegetarian curry which contained some quorn. I offered it to everyone else. They said things like "curried sponge!" "disgusting" "how could you eat that you skank?" etc, despite even having tried any. Not only did...

so if your blog is a glee blog or a vegetarian blog and it doesn’t suck like this and I’ll follow you this probably won’t work oh well
Anonymous asked: actually companies can test on people and it is much more accurate that way. why in any way should a monkey be abused and harmed for the sake of humans? they aren't the ones using the products/medicine, we are. any form of animal testing is unforgivable and selfish on our part.
mr-d4ta asked: I have been a vegetarian since I was born (16 years) and it is in no way abuse. I think it is the best thing my parents could have ever done for me. :D
Anonymous asked: Raising your child as a vegetarian is not "borderline abusive". As someone who has been abused, that's almost offensive. I know of at least two people who were raised vegetarian and they both are perfectly fine and have never had any complaints or problems. I don't think it's any business what other people feed their children as long as the kids are healthy.
Anonymous asked: How do you personally feel about using products tested on animals? I only mention this because I saw you said that you used Dove soap; Dove is part of the Mars company (who mostly, but not only, makes candy) and Mars tests on animals.
arniedoesitbest asked: I have been offered a place to work in Brantano as a saturday job, but they mainly sell leather shoes. Is it wrong for me to work there??
Anonymous asked: people should be a little more careful how they use the word "abusive", because it's a serious thing.
Anonymous asked: for the person asking about soap, check out Lush Cosmetics. Great products and they are all vegetarian/vegan. the company also does a lot for animal rights and sources their ingredients mindfully.
ministryofcreation asked: Dr Bronners Magic Soaps are pretty mainstream. They're not gonna be in EVERY store but they're in the Decent ones. I used to use that alot. Currently I'm using black soap(You usually only get that at specialty stores) but Dr bronners is probably your best bet. plus it lasts forever.
Anonymous asked: Re: craving meat- As said before, it might mean you're not getting enough protein from other foods. But another problem can be that you're craving a specific food. I craved Arby's for about my first year. Random, I know. But a lot of times you don't really want meat, just a specific flavor. Arby's sauce (that I used to put on my roast beef) is vegan, and putting it on a...
Anonymous asked: i'll be a pescetarian for a year in about three days, and i made a deal with my mom when i started that i would eat meat after a year. She's really stubborn and hates me being a pescetarian. I actually would have been a vegetarian but she insists i eat fish. She also tricks me into eating meat sometimes. I don't know what to do! I actually ate meat once by accident and felt really...
Anonymous asked: Dear 'borderline-abusive', does that mean you should give drugs and alcohol to a child at a young age so it's not such a shock to their system if they choose to try those things later in life? If someone is raised religious or atheist, there will always be people who think it's wrong, but neither are necessarily bad for a child. A child can be raised on a healthy vegetarian...
junkfood-uncut asked: For those who are craving meat: think outside of the box when you cook. Being vegan or vegetarian means you have to put more of an effort into cooking. I like to use my resources as much as possible. Cook books, recipes, and other meat free forums that offer good recipes! I never have a boring meal and I've been meat free for seven years!
locsgirl asked: A question about soap. Is that tallow acid in soap animal-based? I've been looking into it, but I haven't gotten a specific answer. If the tallow acid in soap IS animal-based, do you know of any non-animal-based soaps, that can be found in a regular store?
Anonymous asked: ive been a vegetarian for about 9 months now. lately ive been having really bad cravings for meat when my family eats it for dinner. i dont want to eat it, but sometimes i cant resist the temptation. how can i stop?
Anonymous asked: i do not agree with raising for forcing a child vegetarian and letting them pick their diet LATER in life because their system is going to be so fucked and not be able to process meat because its never had it before that they will become violently ill later down the road when they touch it. that's borderline abusive in my opinion - and i am a vegetarian!
