Update: My house smells like bacon.
Okay so I just got home and my mom was talking to some woman who is like vaguely related to me and my mom was doing that usual bragging thing that parents do and she said something about how I’m a vegetarian, and for the first time in a while I heard a statement I’ve genuinely never heard before: “I heard that vegetarians can eat chicken and fish as long as you take the skin off, right?” I mean A+ for creativity wow.
If The Lorax was realistic, the Oncelers would have captured, forcefully breed, and slaughtered the Barbaloots for their Barbaloot suits, killed the Swomee-Swans to make Swomee-Swan down pillows, and overfished the population of Humming Fish until the species died out.
